Hello La Mode 

Hello La Mode is a luxury e-commerce site that crowd-sourced its merchandise from fashion fans. It offered additional security for the purchaser with in-house validation of authenticity. 

 

My strategy for Hello La Mode included outreach to bloggers and upscale fashion resellers. We launched a paid blogger campaign for fashion influencers from around the country to discuss their favorite pieces that they listed on the site for sale. 

 

I created a media and blogger launch party to showcase the site, take professional photos of guests' designer items for sale around a Parisian theme (a tribute to the founder's backgrounds). 

 

In our short run, our press coverage included a large collection of articles in start-up and tech websites. The cover story in the NY Times Style section and T-magazine. Hello La Mode was voted best new startup at StyleBistro. Television coverage included a segment on ABC Action News. 

 

I created editorial and photography campaigns around the holidays, interviews with celebrities with a charitable bent and fashion week coverage for the company blog.
